Consultations
First Meeting
The first meeting is intended for us to get acquainted and discuss your current difficulties, needs, and expectations regarding the counselling process. During this meeting, we will also agree on further cooperation.
Course of the Consultation
- The consultation lasts 45–50 minutes.
- The consultation begins exactly at the agreed time.
- If you arrive late, the duration of the consultation will be shortened in order to keep to the originally scheduled consultation time.
- If you arrive early, it will not be possible to start the consultation before the agreed time.
If the Consultation Is Intended for a Child
- If the consultation is intended for a child under the age of 14, the written consent of a parent or legal representative is required.
- The consent of a parent or legal representative is necessary to ensure that the consultation takes place in accordance with the requirements of the Psychologists Law and the Psychologists’ Code of Ethics.
Cancellation or Rescheduling of a Consultation
- If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation, please inform in a timely manner.
- If the consultation is cancelled less than 12 hours before the agreed time, the full fee must be paid.
- If the client does not attend the consultation and has not informed me in a timely manner, the full fee must be paid. The next consultation can be scheduled after the missed consultation has been paid for.
Communication Between Consultations
- After a consultation and between consultations, communication is possible only regarding technical matters. Technical matters may include, for example, the consultation time, payment, format, or rescheduling of the consultation.
